Spill The Cha Pte Ltd ("Spill The Cha," "we," "us") builds and operates OneHungryHippo, PropertyInsiderSG, and ThePipsFactory (together, the "Products"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Products and this website, why, and what choices you have. It's written to apply across everything we build; where a Product's practices differ, we say so.

1. Information we collect

Account information

If you create an account with us — currently, this applies to OneHungryHippo — we collect your name and email address, and any profile details you choose to add (such as a display name or dietary preferences).

Location

OneHungryHippo asks for your device's location, with your permission, to show vegetarian- and vegan-friendly places near you. You can decline this and still search manually. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.

Content you provide

Reviews, ratings, photos, or listings you submit are stored against your account and may be shown publicly within the relevant Product.

Analytics and diagnostics

We use standard analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how the Products are used and to fix bugs. These tools collect device type, operating system, app version, and usage events (such as which screens are viewed). This data is tied to a device or installation identifier, not directly to your name, unless you're signed in.

2. How we use this information

• To provide the core function of each Product — for example, matching your location to nearby listings, or showing your reviews to other users.
• To maintain your account and let you sign in across sessions.
• To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and understand which features are actually used, so we can prioritise fixes and improvements.
• To respond when you contact us for support.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

3. Who we share it with

We share data with the infrastructure providers that let us run the Products — for example, cloud hosting, crash reporting, and analytics vendors — solely so they can provide that service to us. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Your choices

• Account deletion: OneHungryHippo lets you delete your account and associated personal data directly from within the app, under account settings. Deletion removes your profile and account data from our systems, other than what we're legally required to retain.
• Location: can be turned off at any time in your device's settings without losing access to the rest of the app.
• Access or correction: email us at info@spillthecha.xyz to request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it manually.

5. Children's privacy

Our Products are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

6. This website

spillthecha.xyz itself does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It's a static site describing our studio and products; the practices above apply to the Products themselves.

7. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active, and delete it (subject to the note in section 4) when you close your account or request deletion. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained only as long as needed to be useful for debugging and product decisions, then aged out.

8. Governing law

Spill The Cha Pte Ltd is registered in Singapore, and this policy is governed by Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). If you're located elsewhere, your local law may give you additional rights; contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and adjust the date above. Where a Product requires it, we'll also notify you in-app.
